Fujairah, UAE

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a seven-member federation of monarchies. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the most well known to us Westerners.

Fujairah, another of the seven, was our port today. I wonder who came up with this stop.

The men’s room ablution (ritual cleansing / bathing) sign was the highlight of the day.

The Fujairah Fort, built in 1670, is the oldest fort in the UAE.
