Sorrento, Italy
Our first port of call for the cruise was Sorrento. We have been here many times, and enjoy walking around the area.
There certainly was no need to pop over to the Amalfi coast (since we just spent 10 days there).
Even though they have some great restaurants here, we resisted the urge and ate sparingly onboard. It is back to disciplined eating.
For some reason there have been constant fireworks tonight. Nobody seems to know the reason. They are really loud. It reminds me of when I was in the Gulf War. More accurately, it reminded me of what I saw and heard of the Gulf War on TV.
